22. Borei-Class Subs
The United States might have beaten the rest of the world to the nuclear sub, but the Russians eventually caught up. Their newest venture is the Borei-Class subs, a trio of nuclear subs they operate in the Pacific and northern seas. Compared to previous subs, like the Typhoon class of subs, the Borei-Class of subs run more efficiently with fewer crew members. They’re also cheaper to build. Their advances include a more compact and efficient hull, wrapped in a stealthier operation.
