12. Thomas Brodie-Sangster
In the Season 4 finale, “The Children”, Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s character, Jojen Reed, was killed. Jojen was the longtime friend of Bran Stark, and had helped him go North of the Wall and find his true purpose after he lost the use of his legs. Jojen’s death hit everyone pretty hard, especially his sister, Meera.
Brodie-Sangster has gone on to reprise his role in Love Actually opposite Liam Neeson in a Red Nose Day short that aired on May 25, 2017.
13. Jack Gleeson
Ramsay Bolton’s death might have been the most satisfying death on Game of Thrones, but Joffrey Baratheon-Lannister’s death comes as a pretty close second. Joffrey was finally killed off in Season 4, Episode 2, “The Lion and the Rose”, so Margaery didn’t have to marry him.
Jack Gleeson was happy to leave the show. He enjoyed his role, but he didn’t want to be typecast as insane, sadistic characters forever. He starred in a play called Bears in Space in 2016, but hasn’t done much in the way of film since.
