18. Queen Latifah

Former rapper turned Hollywood actress Queen Latifah has never been very open about her love life. We know she was in a long-lasting relationship with her girlfriend, Eboni Nichols, but the two never made it official in the eyes of the law. Unfortunately, the two recently split and show no signs of reconciling. However, Queen Latifah still has the slightest bit of hope that she will find the right partner, and she has the rings to prove it. Apparently she bought two wedding bands with intentions of some day giving one of them to someone, but she’s quick to clarify that whoever that may be is going to have to earn it. She’s not “giving” anyone anything. In the meantime, she said, “I’ll treat myself like a Queen until then.”
17. Anita Hill

“I haven’t decided not to do it. I just haven’t decided to do it” is what Anita Hill told reporters when asked about marriage with her long time boyfriend. As a reminder, Ms. Hill is the woman that opposed Clarence Thomas in a court of law back in the 90s. Not only is she an attorney, but also quite the academic. She teaches Women’s Studies, Law, and Social Policy at Brandeis University so she’s obviously quite the catch. Hill did mention that her relationship with her boyfriend is a good one, saying “We’re both committed, and we’re happy. We’re together every day of the year, but we each have our own home.”
