As a Secretary of State, I assume you don’t have much time for things like dating. So unless you’ve found someone along the way prior to getting into such a prestigious position, the chances of it happening are slim to none at best. Ms. Condoleezza Rice did come close to walking down the aisle back in the 70s when she was engaged to Denver Broncos wide receiver Rick Upchurch. However, the relationship came to an abrupt end before the wedding day came around.

Lauren Graham played the fun loving single mother on the hit television show Gilmore Girls, and it turns out that her real life isn’t far off from the character she played on the show. She’s never been married and currently has no plans on that changing. Her latest role on the hit show Parenthood is where she met her current boyfriend, Peter Krouse, and they have been together since 2010. Ellen DeGeneres once asked Lauren if she saw potential wedding bells in her future and she responded with a similar response that most other ladies on this list have given. She said “We are really happy. I feel like close to five years in Hollywood, it’s like, aren’t we married already really? It’s good the way it is.”
