13. Freaks And Geeks: ‘Tricks and Treats’
The cult phenomenon of Freaks and Geeks cannot be denied. Spawning many Hollywood careers, the show was a truly brilliant look at adolescents and how hard it can be to come into your own. ‘Trick and Treats’ showcased the different levels of growing up brilliantly. While Neal, Sam, Bill, and Harris are out trick or treating in arguably the best costumes ever, Lindsay is having an existential crisis as she tries to balance friendships and family connections. The scene with Lindsay sharing candy with her mom after realizing the error of her ways is one that really hits home. After all, I’m sure we have all experience that rock and a hard place at some point in our lives.
