1. Griffith Lived A Long Life
Although in 1983, it looked like the world might lose Andy Griffith when he developed Guillain-Barre Syndrome, he pulled through. After a full recovery, he did “Matlock.” Life was smooth sailing until 2000 when Griffith went under the knife for a triple bypass. They buttoned him up and he lived another 12 years. In 2012, a heart attack finally took Andy Griffith to the Mayberry in the sky.
