For many actors, landing a gig on a series means the end of their formal education in acting. They don’t have the time to study anyway. Corsaut was a student at Northwestern University prior to the show, but she’d stopped going to find work. When she landed “The Andy Griffith Show,” she used the paycheck to go back to school at UCLA.
