14. Barry Watson’s Cancer
Matt Camden was the oldest son of the Camden’s, the hunky teen heartthrob of the show, played by Barry Watson. In 2002, doctors diagnosed Watson with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Watson fought the disease while staying on the show. Whether it was a comment on the progress of medicine or Watson’s toughness as an actor, audiences hardly noticed how weak he’d grown. Watson survived the battle for now and continues to stay busy in television.
