4. Casting Twins
For child actors who happen to be twins in Hollywood, they stand a good chance of landing a part in a series. Because of child labor laws, producers have to cast twins to play young children. That allows them to rotate the child actors on long days of filming. The Camden’s, however, had twins as part of the story so producers had to go one step further. They cast quadruplets to play the twins, Sam and David, born in season three. The quads who played them, Lorenzo, Myrinda, Nikolas, and Zachary Brino aged differently over the seasons, forcing producers to use only Lorenzo and Nikolas by the end. In the long run, none of the quadruplets stayed with acting.
