6. When Art Imitated Life
Brenda Hampton, the show’s creator, developed a passion for adopting and foster parenting, something she longed to do for years. In time, Hampton was successful in adopting two children, cementing her integrity as a doer and not just a talker. That said, she also used her creative outlet to espouse her values. The show began to reflect her passions by the 8th season of 7th Heaven when the Camden’s opened up their own hearts to the idea.
