There is somewhat of a debate regarding the actual top speed achieved by the Jaguar XK120 in 1949. Some reports say it reached over 130mph, but it was later found out that was a highly tuned prototype that reached that speed. The production model was no slouch though, it featured a straight six cylinder engine that produced an impressive 160hp.
