We have already reached the first production car to reach 100mph. Its called the Healey 2.4 and at least part of that name could ring a bell. Later on the it would become the Austin-Healey that we all know and love today. But this was prior to that. The 2.4 referred to the 2.4L “Big Four” engine that produced an estimated 104hp. This might also be the only four cylinder engine to make the list.
