Koenigsegg has made significant improvements over the last decade. When you look at automotive record books you will see Koenigsegg written all over it. Granted it may not hold that top spot in the top speed category, but that could be purely by design. Christian Von Koenigsegg, creator of these magnificent cars, has made his intentions very clear. He doesn’t particularly care about who has the highest top speed, he cares about who can get there the fastest. The 5.0L twin turbo V8 in the Agera R produces 1,124hp and according to some the top speed is also over 270mph, but that has never been proven.
