19. Jaguar Mark IV 3.5L Drop-Head Coupe 95mph/1945

The first car on our list is slightly controversial. The Jaguar Mark IV 3.5L had a manufacturers claimed top speed of 95mph. But when a third party tested the car, it only managed to reach 91mph. Nonetheless, it was still the fastest car at the time. There were three different engine choices; 1.5L, 2.5L and of course the 3.5L inline six cylinder option used for testing. Power specs were estimated to be right around 125hp in the largest of the three engines.
