The Porsche 959 was one of the first production cars to flirt with the 200mph mark. It came in a few different trim levels, each of which had different top speeds. The Sport version managed to reach 198mph in 1987 thanks to the twin turbo 2.8L flat six engine that produced roughly 444hp. The following year Porsche released a 515hp version that was able to reach 210mph, which was good, but not as good as the Yellowbird.
