The G55AMG was the first performance version of the G wagons and many thought that it would be a waste to put the 500hp 5.4L V8 in the big G wagon but it immediately became a hit with the rich and famous. Seems like every major Hollywood icon was seen driving in the G55 AMG. Pricing was right around $125,000.
