Its not really a secret that we are huge M car fans here at History Garage and this type of driving is what the “Ultimate Driving Machine” was made to do, so its safe to expect a few to pop up on this list. Really any year or body style of the M5 wold be ideal for this, but the 2016 M5 with its 560hp 5.5L twin turbo V8 would be hard to beat. Maybe the E39 model that ran from 1998-2002 with its naturally aspirated 400hp V8 would be a great compromise if you were on a budget.
