Behind the Phoenix Legacy The Wallace and Ladmo Show

1. The Net Effect of the Show

After some 9,000 shows, another 8,000 live shows, and something like 40,000 Ladmo Bags, the last episode of The Wallace and Ladmo Show aired on December 29, 1989. That wasn’t the end of their reputation, though. The people of Phoenix still talk about the show. Artists have attempted to preserve the show around Phoenix. The Arizona Historical Society displays an exhibit featuring the whole studio set and some 2,500 items from the show. The only surviving cast member is Pat McMahon. He still works in the same field where he first cut his teeth, entertainment.
