10. McMahon Had Prior Experience

It wasn’t like Pat McMahon walked onto the soundstage with zero background in showbiz. He’d been born into a family of entertainers. His family had been vaudevillian performers back in the day. He was part of the act from age five to 17, touring the world with his family. the McMahon family settled in Iowa, where Pat went to school. He worked as a college disc jockey on the Davenport radio station, KSTT for time, then joined the army. As part of the Army’s Special Services, McMahon leveraged his years in vaudeville to entertain troops, further honing his craft.
