1. A View to a Kill
Despite planning to hang up his martini glass after, For Your Eyes Only, Moore made one more go as James Bond in A View to a Kill in 1985. Christopher Walken played the villain, Max Zorin. Walken was still a young man, but Moore was 58 years old at the time. Fans didn’t mind. Critics spent more time dogging Moore for his ever-present comedic delivery. “My acting range has always been something between the two extremes of ‘raises left eyebrow’ and ‘raises right eyebrow,’” said Moore. He passed on May 23, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.
