11. Live and Let Die

Roger Moore took over as Bond in the eighth installment, Live and Let Die, a film that might raise a few eyebrows today. At the time, blacksploitation films were the hot ticket. Live and Let Die attempted to reflect those films, featuring black actors portraying cultural stereotypes [read: insensitive if not downright offensive.] As such, Bond had his first cross-cultural romance in Live and Let Die, romancing Rosie Carver played by Gloria Hendry. Jane Seymour also starred in the film as Solitaire. She admitted years later that she took the gig for the paycheck.
