11. Michael J. Fox: Today
The passage of time has been hard on Fox. In 1991, at age 29, doctors diagnosed Fox with Parkinson’s disease. He kept it a secret for seven years, partially retiring from acting in 2000. The disease hasn’t kept the guy who made movies on four-hours of sleep down. In 2017, Fox appeared on stage at the Oscars, emerging from a DeLorean with Seth Rogen. On his feet, Rogen wore the self-lacing Nike shoes from the second movie. The applause was deafening. “I’m going to pretend half that applause is for me,” said Rogen. “…even though I know deep down it is not.”
