10. Cocaine Connection
Although Al Capone was more notoriously a booze runner, he wasn’t above other vices. When authorities threw Capone in the clink in 1932, he took a few keepsakes in with him. They diagnosed the crime boss with syphilis and gonorrhea. He also suffered a damaged septum, obliterated from so much cocaine use. In the beginning of his sentence, he suffered withdrawal symptoms. Apparently, back then, they kept drugs out of the jails. Today, Capone would have had access to cocaine, crack, and even some lovely meth to help him cope. Montana made his cocaine lines with his forearms to save time.
