12. Florida
When at the end of his life, Al Capone could do nothing more, he retired to Florida. His mind was failing, but so was his body. That was in 1946. One psychiatrist said Capone had the mind of a twelve-year-old. He spent his last days in Florida lounging and occasionally fishing. Montana hit Florida at the start of his prime when he was yet a young ambitious man. Unlike Capone who suffered through Chicago winters, Montana would live out all his days in the tropical glory of Florida.
