5. Jail Time
Al Capone eventually served his time, but prior to that, he avoided jail three times by bribing and threatening his way out. The first time was 1929 when Philadelphia police found him carrying a concealed weapon. He’d just left an important crime boss meeting in New Jersey. For his crime in Pennsylvania, Capone spent fewer than twelve months in jail. Montana, on the other hand, never spends a night in jail during Scarface, not in Miami. He may have been in jail in Cuba, but he remains a free man during the course of the Scarface story.
