5. A Painting in Black and White Colorized Itself

In the office of Perry White, the boss of The Daily Planet, where Clark and Lois worked, a painting hung on the wall. During the black and white days of filming, like many set pieces and costumes, it was a grayscale representation of the imagined color version. When the show transitioned to color cameras, there was one episode where they hadn’t yet colorized the painting. By the next time we see it, the painting seems to manifest itself in Technicolor. Ergo, self-manifestation.
