3. There was Once a Weird Nude Scene
In the episode “Goodbye, Alice, Hello,” there is a scene where Bobby and Cindy ask Alice to join them attending a pool party at the neighbors. The youngest Brady kids have on robes. What Alice discovers, by opening Bobby’s robe to see his new suit, is that he’s only wearing his birthday suit, Cindy too. As it turns out, they’ve invited Alice to a skinny dipping party, an offer for which she not only declines but forbids them from accepting too. “You are not gonna swim in an x-rated swimming pool without your parent’s permission,” she tells them, shooing them out of the kitchen. The scene plays quite racy today for a show that seems so wholesome by any other standard.
