7. Marcia Really ate a Football
As if it wasn’t bad enough that they had to craft a whole show around Maureen McCormick’s nose, the story gets better. In “The Subject of Noses,” one of the boys throws a football long, sailing it off camera. The audience is supposed to believe it flies into Marcia’s nose, but in reality Christopher Knight, the actor who played Peter, couldn’t throw that well. Lloyd Schwartz, one of the producers, grabbed the ball to throw it for the shot. He threw a perfect spiral nailing McCormick in the face for reals. Now that’s method acting!
