24. The Show Changed Paramount Forever

When Paramount produced “The Brady Bunch,” they had been exclusively a movie studio. By contracting Sherwood Schwartz to produce this show (and the other Sherwood gem, “Gilligan’s Island”) they officially stepped into the world of television producing. “The Brady Bunch” aired on ABC, and “Gilligan’s Island” on CBS, but both came out of Paramount’s lot.
