13. Marshawn Lynch – Seattle Seahawks
Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch might be retired, but he will go down in history as one of the best power running backs in the National Football League. He was first drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007 and he played with them until the Seattle Seahawks picked him up in 2010 where he helped the team win the Super Bowl in 2013. Marshawn picked up this waterfront property located in Richmond, California that provides spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay. The home is said to be around 7,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with a value of $3.3 million. We know there’s a good size garage around there somewhere also because Lynch has been known to be a gearhead.
12. Lance Briggs – Chicago Bears
Just after signing with the Chicago Bears as a linebacker, Lance Briggs felt it was time to buy himself a home. He must’ve wanted to stay out of the snow because he ended up purchasing this home in Arizona for roughly $3.4 million in 2007. It’s a gorgeous 6,800 square foot home with a guest home which also has about 1,000 sq ft. Other amenities include an outdoor kitchen and a pool that looks straight out of a tropical island with all the palm trees surrounding it. Briggs lived there for a few years but then decided to sell it. Unfortunately due to the poor housing market, he ended up listing it for $2.7 million, more than $700,000 less than he originally paid for it.
