Cast Away
W watched transfixed as Tom Hanks created one of his most memorable roles ever as the lone survivor of a plane crash leaving him stranded on a small desert island. While we cheered for him to survive, we did notice this error.
Blooper: The cardboard FedEx boxes that he found floating in the ocean near the island are not water proof. Only by movie magic did they miraculously survive the crash and then float, keeping the contents of the non-waterproof packaging totally undamaged!
