Another amphibious craft in the US Navy, this ship can carry four aircrafts and two hovercrafts. Work on the USS Anchorage was begun in 2007 and the ship was launched four years later in 2011. This ship is sponsored by Annette Conway, the wife of former Marine Corps Commandant General James T. Conway.
