AMC Eagle

Is it a car? Is it an SUV? A crossover? What is it? Well, it’s the AMC Eagle and it was the only four-wheel drive sedan on the market back in 1987 when it was released. Nowadays there are plenty of all-wheel drive sedans available, but would they be considered a “four wheel drive” like the Eagle was? Probably not, but there is a good reason for that. Someone finally realized that nobody wanted to go off-roading in a sedan, couple or station wagon. I mean it is a good base for what could be a pretty badass off-road vehicle but that’s about it.
