Ford Bronco II

I’m noticing a trend where Ford keeps placing iconic nameplates on cars that don’t deserve them; yet another example being the Bronco II. This boxy little guy came onto the scene in 1983 and was produced until 1990. They were again underpowered and underwhelming when it came to their off-road abilities, although they at least had four wheel drive. What made it worse is that it was marketed as the “John Wayne” of vehicles and a vehicle for “men and young couples”. I don’t know about you, but I don’t see anything that makes me think John Wayne when looking at this piece of garbage.
