1978 Dodge Challenger

I wanted to use a specific year on this one so I don’t mislead anyone. If I had just put Dodge Challenger up there I’d catch all sorts of grief because as most car guys know the Dodge Challenger is one of the best muscle cars ever made. But that was the first generation Challengers made from 1970-1974 that were so fantastic. The second gen, however, was the polar opposite of the mean Mopar’s from the early ’70s. Not only did it look horrible, but the performance of the car was worse than the car looked if you can believe that. The performance is partly what made the Challenger name so popular in the first place so it just seems so wrong to see that nameplate on a car like this.
