There was a time when turbo elicited snickers. Cars that bragged turbo were punchy, but not efficient. The days of turbo seemed to be far in our rearview until recently. Now with our advances in technology, turbo engines have a chance at revival. In their first turbo ever, Nissan recently introduced us to the Sentra SR. It’s a lighter, more fuel-efficient car with 50% more horsepower than prior models. Who wouldn’t want that? They aren’t the only ones with Turbo on their drawing board. It’s back baby, and it’s better than ever.
