In today’s cars, even traditional engines, batteries are everything. It’s our connected world, but also the future of connected cars driving the need. We have to have better batteries, longer-lasting, lighter batteries. To solve this, body panels of the future could store energy, recharging batteries or powering low-energy systems. Some of the current energy storing technologies involve manufacturing panels that are lighter than current panels. That’s a double-whammy on efficiency.
