4. Saw-Scaled Viper

The first clue in the name of this snake is the word “viper.” These sort of snakes are the most dangerous snakes in the world. The saw-scaled variety takes the cake for the most deaths by snakebite of any species in the world. There are eight subspecies of these vipers found in Africa, the Middle East, and India. Venomousness can vary from snake to snake, making it tough to know what will come of a bite. Bites from females are twice the potency. Symptoms can last for days to weeks, marked by bleeding anywhere on the body.
