8. Polar Bear

Roughly the same size as the Kodiak bear, the polar bear lives in the Arctic Circle where they hunt fish and small animals. They are not aggressive, preferring to avoid people, but a hungry polar bear will attack a foolish human who gets too close. The other scenario is they’ve hunted you, in which case you stand no chance. They are very sneaky, and they do not attack and leave. Attacks, although rare, are usually fatal.
