16. Extra Rules
As an adult in the Amish community, one whose been baptized, there are special rules. They call it Ordnung. These rules go beyond the normal twelve commandments most Christians accept as religious canon. Ordnung rules, which govern all behavior in Amish society, are non-negotiable. Failure to adhere is a serious offense.
