1970 ZL1 Chevy Corvette

One of the few cars that can beat the Mustang in the longevity category is the Corvette. It was first built in 1953 and is still going strong as one of the mot recognizable cars ever made. The third generation (C3) was made during the heart of the muscle car era, also known as the Stingray. The ZL1 came with an all aluminum 427 cubing inches that had been bored out to closer to 454 and was rumored to have over 550hp, although only 53 were built in that configuration.
