#21 Buick GSX
The 1970 Buick GSX tends to get overlooked with so many high-performance cars available at the time. But don’t let that fool you, it was based off the Skylark platform but with a high-performance package featuring the mighty 455 cubic inch Buick V8. That GS455 engine was said to “only” produce 350hp but its real claim to fame was the torque output of 510lb-ft which held the American car record until 2003 when the Dodge Viper V10 surpassed it.
