18. Fans Know How to Lay Siege to Cinderella’s Castle

Despite the fake drawbridge and other logistical problems, one of the most popular conversations hardcore Disney fans have is how to lay siege to Cinderella’s Castle. Some strategies include securing outposts in the woods and cutting off access to the monorail in order to choke the park from supplies and reinforcements. Other strategies include invading via the Seven Seas Lagoon, taking the Main Street Railway Station, and much more. It might sound ridiculous, but it’s a lot of fun to think about and it’s a great mental exercise.

Other inspirations include Fontainebleau, Versailles, the Châteaux of Chenonceau, Pierrefonds, Chambord, and Chaumont. Overall, the Imagineers pulled inspiration from the Gothic architectural style of the 1400s. They totally nailed it.
