The characters of Danny, Steve, Duke, and Chin were all suspended by the police at one point during the series. This happened for several different reasons specified in the script. Two characters were even accused of murder during the show: Steve and Danny.
3. The Secret Episode

One episode was never re-broadcasted: “Bored, She Hung Herself”. In the episode, the characters investigate the suicide of a woman by hanging, which she supposedly did as part of a crazy health regimen. When a fan of the show tried the same technique and died, the episode was pulled from the air and was never repackaged or sold.
