Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris is as famous for being Chuck Norris as anything else. The folklore around how badass is Norris exceeds the realms of reality. (I.e.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird.) Before he was badass POW on screen, he served in the Air Force as an Air Policeman. At one time, Norris intended to go into law enforcement. That was before he learned martial arts. After his discharge in 1962, he fought competitively, then tried acting under the encouragement of his friend Steve McQueen.
