Jesse Ventura
Some know him as the former governor of Minnesota, but most know Ventura for his years in wrestling as Jesse “The Body” Ventura. He acted in movies too, like, “Predator,” where he said famously, “I ain’t got time to bleed.” Ventura claims he was a Navy Seal, but this assertion has come under scrutiny for this claim because he never finished the Seal training. Ventura did not see any action. He left the service in 1975.
Henry Fonda
The famous film and stage actor enjoyed a lengthy career during his life with five decades in the craft of acting. It was Fonda’s love for acting that motivated him to join the Navy during World War II. He joined in 1942 at age 37, saying he didn’t “want to be in a fake war in a studio.” Fonda served about the USS Satterlee.
