Whether you watched Bonanza or not, you most likely would recognize the theme song to the show. That’s because it’s believed to be one of the most recognizable and popular theme songs of all time. Lorne Greene, the actor who played the great Ben Cartwright, actually sang that famous song during the pilot episode. He and his TV sons also sang on a Christmas album released in 1964.
