9. Michael Landon Became Hugely Successful After Bonanza

Thanks to Bonanza, Michael Landon became a massive TV star. He continues to be one of the only actor to star in three TV shows that ran consecutively for at least five years. He starred in several favorites, including Bonanza (1959-1973), followed by Little House on the Prairie (1974-1983) and finally Highway to Heaven (1984-1989).
