Actually, in the movie Iron Man 2, the character of Black Widow is still known as Natalie Rushman or Natasha Romanoff. That is the name under which the filmmakers billed Johansson. In the Avengers films, she would become Black Widow. Blunt had to pass up on the role as the studio exercised a right from her “Devil Wear Prada” contract, tying her up with “Gulliver’s Travels.”
