The troubled girl parts for Jolie are so far aways, they may as well be in another universe. Now we know her more as a mom and a humanitarian. She’s not, however, poorly positioned to play the girl-in-trouble role. (See what I did there?) Alfonso Cuaron originally had her in that role for Gravity, but she passed in 2010 and it went to Bullock.
